yes - we look forward to your visit.
Last week of April.
Massachusetts doesn't have happy hour, so no.
Just shared the panko haddock and the mac & cheese lobster. Absolutely delicious!!! Just came back and had to edit my review. Had the Portuguese stew....wow!!! Amazing!! And our waitress Crystal was beyond amazing! We had so much fun with her. Also the manager Anastasia took out reservation for10 on the patio and came to talk with us. Amazing service. Would totally come back!!!
Awesome service, food is delicious and they're dog friendly, what else could you ask for?
Great place to stop for a quick bite or enjoy a nice long meal. Very cute and cozy patio. The service was awesome and fast, and my lobster tacos were the bomb! Drinks are quite tasty too. Would love to visit again!!
I had dinner with some friends at this restaurant for the first time last week. Our waiter was super friendly and courteous. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. They also have a large cocktail menu. I can't wait to go back!
Excellent lobster roll, cape style
Great food and service
We felt that the host didn’t want a family with a small child dining here. We were told that if we wanted a high chair that it would be a 45 minute wait (host not having checked to see if their high chair was in use at the time) and when we said that we could skip the high chair, we were seated immediately with a high chair waiting at our table for us. We were told that we could leave our small stroller at the bike rack nearby. We’ve never been asked to leave our stroller outside of an establishment. It felt as though this is not a friendly environment for people with small children. That was our take at least. Great food and good drinks though.
Very good happy hour for oysters. We ate 5 dozen & they were very fresh & tasty. My only complaint is that the drinks were NOT happy hour. There were 6 of us & they would only deliver a dozen at a time. 10+ minute wait between each course. Clearly they wanted us to drink.
Stopped in for dinner the last night of a week-long stay in ptown, and their carbonara with lobster was my favorite dinner all week. Martin was a delight!
Great menu offerings- the gazpacho was tangy, P-Town sampler had nice assorted raw bar selections, fish and chips crispy not greasy. Attentive staff, clean and inviting patio seating under umbrellas and quick service at busy spot. Kudos!
I had the triple chicken wing thing, but I had them do more of the dry rub wings and hold the BBQ flavor - not my thing. Dry rub Cajun chicken wings are hard to do right and these guys nailed it. Perfection.Wife had the steak shishkabobs(sp?) - she likes her steak well done which is REALLY hard to get right. She had me try a piece. Absolutely amazing. I'm a medium rare guy but this was incredible...downright juicy BUT still well done. That is ridiculously hard to pull off.I told them, whatever they're paying the cook, bump it up. A lot. Whoever it is is a genius.
Drinks are great, food fine but service not.
Still great for lunch.
Opening in a few hours!!! This takeout menu is going to be epic!!! Hopefully I can get some pics in!!!
Service was great, food was trying too hard and missing. Get back to basics.
Great food! Best spot in Ptown for people watching, friendly and great vibe. Always a must when in town, looking great with all the new improvements. Can’t wait to be back!
Food is good atmosphere is great. Fun outdoor experience. Portable heaters even blankets at the tables. We had a bad experience due to shift change. Try the avacados crab toast!
Love, love, love! Everything about this place was amazing. Beautiful interior, fun and cozy atmosphere, super friendly staff and AMAZING food. The lobster risotto was absolutely to die for and the grilled swordfish was excellent as well. Extensive and fairly priced wine and cocktail list. Nice outdoor seating, clean restrooms. Will definitely return when I next visit Provincetown!
Kevin and I had a wonderful time at the Patio. As always, the service was friendly and efficient. The lobster mac and cheese was fantastic as was the lobster carbonara: both had lots of chunky fresh lobster. We both love the food and atmosphere here- we'll be back next week!
When though this is very popular with tourists, it's also very popular with locals. The food is very good and the location the best.
I almost didn't go in based on the reviews, but boy am I glad we did anyways. The shrimp tacos are the best I've ever had; the balance of tartness, spiciness, sweetness... the soft, the crunchy.. most excellent! Family liked the crab cakes, fish n'chips (proper chips and crispy coating on the fish), and kiddie burger all received top marks too. Outdoor seating makes it a fab holiday dining spot
Patio is not at all accommodating to customers who are careful about being exposed to Covid. We tried to make a reservation online but wanted to be sure we were seated outside (since that is safer per the CDC) but couldn't see any way of doing that online. We then called and spoke to an uncaring gentleman who told us just to put in the reservations comments online. Since they require a credit card to hold the reservation, we asked him if that would guarantee outside seating and he told me they "couldn't guarantee anything." So we might have shown up and be told we had to sit inside, but would then have to forfeit the reservation charge on our credit card if we wouldn't accept inside seating. There are many other restaurants in Ptown that are quite accommodating in making sure you have outdoor seating. Patronize them.
The waiting staff were all so helpful and knowledgeable. The food was yummy and the atmosphere was soft and inviting.
My family had a great meal in the best location with terrific service so easily a 5 star rating. My grilled cheese was stuffed with fresh lobster and my wife and kids enjoyed their meals. Eating open air in the heart of Commercial Street with attentive wait staff made for a great atmosphere. It's no wonder, with the friendly owner Joachim on site, that things will run very well. Easy recommendation.
The management is unapologetically dismissive and rude. You could eat anywhere else and have a better experience.
If you’re going to have a nice dinner in Provincetown, Patio is the best place to have it. We ordered calamari and the tuna tartare and they were fantastic. I also ordered the crab cakes and were delicious. You can’t go wrong with any of the items on the menu.
Very rude receptionist. We called to ask if we can sit outside due to the current pandemic we did not want to eat indoors and he told us that since we booked day of he cannot guarantee anything and that eating inside is fine cause it's open. Very rude and not considerate of the global health crisis. Will not ever dine here again. Waiter was awesome though!
Wonderful friendly service. We had the fish taco’s , shrimp & fries & mac n cheese for the kids. Our server was lovely and even suggested our kids could share the portion , which I appreciate so much, and he was right. The food was delicious.
They are open! Plus, they are very nice and the food was delicious...recommend the lobster grilled cheese and the chop chop salad 😍
Great food and the best staff.
Food and atmosphere was excellent. Service was not. Drinks came after the appetizer. Second round of drinks took even longer. Had to wave the waiter down to get the check and get out of there.
Friendly staff and great service. Fantastic drink menu! Very nautical themed place.
Get a reservation! This is a great place with super friendly wait staff - a great view of the bustling crowds on commercial street, while having a fabulous dining experience! Excellent menu with great seafood options (the lobster Mac & Cheese was very popular the night I dined there!)
Friendly place great for people watching on Commercial Street. We had the summer risotto (clear winner) and orechetti with sausage (almost as good as Costco's version). Great prob sizes. Is anyone else getting sick of the QC scan menus? I had forgotten my reading glasses as well.
THE place to get signature cocktails and appetizers on Commercial Street. Patio is always bustling with a diverse crowd and ripe atmosphere. The summer risotto, lobster mac and cheese, and crab cake BLT are (my personal favorites) but are part of an all-star menu with diversified options for all palates.
Best dinner on commercial st. I truly enjoyed eating here. The food was absolutely spot on. The seafood was insanely fresh and well prepared. I’d highly recommend the lobster risotto. Service was wonderful and the Mojito’s were perfectly mixed!
Ate here twice on our vacation and we really enjoyed it. Bar is tucked in the back but staff was friendly and made our experience. Cocktails were great and food was even better!
Everything was perfect! The food (particularly the tuna tartar and the lobster risotto), the cocktails (try the cucumber Martini, you won't regret it), the presentation, the service was very professional and friendly and the ambiance very lively. There was absolutely nothing not to like. Our last and best dinner in Provincetown after an 8 day stay. Had we found it earlier we would have repeated. We will definitely come back!
Got there late, service wasn't great, but it was late. Food was good! Fish n chips is solid. Beer selection not great, nice place though.
Excellent seafood app. Lobster Mac was great and the fish and chips had a great batter with plentiful cod. Service wasn’t great, but we would return for the food selection and quality.
Skip the Lobster Pot and Governess place. This place is fresh and clean and has great food.
Gazpacho and chicken skewers were awesome!
Eder is the best server and made the dinner worth while. Management was questionable as he was seen screaming at wait staff in front of guests. Ambiance and quality of food was very good, but portions were small for the price you have to pay here. Drinks were not good. The best part of the experience was the top notch service, conversation and attentiveness from Eder.
Delightful summer dining anytime of day. Responsive staff, delicious specials, and a wide variety of high end drinks. Outdoor seating is comfy, even in a light rain. Good mix of reliable standbys and seasonal specials on the menu. Happy that we stumbled upon this gem!
Awsome service ! Very good and not too expensive !
Service and food was great. I had misgivings about eating at the Patio since their sister restaurant, Pepe was not good in either category. I was pleasant surprise, waitstaff was attentive, food tasted freshly prepared, flavorful AND priced right. Thanks.
Lobster Mac. Lobster grilled cheese. Both fantastic. The Cole slaw is great as well.
I've been coming to the patio for years as we visit ptown each August. Their food is wonderful and service is very good considering it's a seasonal rotation of Eastern European wait staff each summer, they are friendly and courteous. We've never had a bad meal here. My wife's favorite is the scallops over the green risotto (asparagus and peas I believe). Last time I got the special: grilled salmon over mushroom risotto, and it was expertly cooked with the salmon slightly pink in the middle. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is because they (like some others on the cape) don't accept American Express card and as a foodie with a gold card earning 4x points on restaurants usually I would prefer to use it when paying tourist prices. There are many wonderful restaurants in ptown, you should definitely make a stop here.
Very nice place to have dinner in Ptown. This was one of my favorite restaurants. The “Tres Leches” dessert is amazing 😍
